Responding With Transfers

This practice area supports Lessons 8 of the SBU 20 week course

This section assumes that your partner in NORTH has opened the bidding with a No Trump Bid and EAST has passed. It is now up to you to respond.

You need to evaluate your hand and determine whether you can respond by Transferring to a Major not. To do so, you need a 5 Card Major. Don't forget that Stayman is available if a 4 Card Major is present.
