This practice area supports Lessons 4-6 of the SBU 20 week course

This section assumes that your partner in NORTH has opened the bidding and EAST has passed. It is now up to you to respond.

You must evaluate your hand, establish it's shape and points and identify which suit is your preferred suit, based on the Major / Minor rules.

You can then work out what, if anything, you would respond with.
